About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command, through the 628 Civil Engineering Squadron, seeks procurement and delivery of one closed-loop adiabatic fluid cooler and two water-source heat pumps for government installation at Joint Base Charleston, with proposals due September 11.
This is a total small business set-aside. Place of performance is Joint Base Charleston, North Charleston, South Carolina. The adiabatic cooler must be a Nimbus model VRGA022.0-EC-4 or equivalent meeting salient characteristics: 3-phase/60Hz/460V operation, BacNet/MSTP unit controller compatible with Trane Ensemble Base Energy Management Control System, variable speed fans, NEMA 4X control panel, minimum 1,000 MBH/80-ton capacity at specified conditions (95°F entering fluid, 85°F exiting, 20% propylene glycol, 95°F dry bulb, 80°F wet bulb), and maximum dimensions of 9 feet wide by 14 feet long by 10 feet high with minimum 200 GPM water flow. The 6-ton heat pump must be a Trane Axiom model GEVK0724: 460 volt/3-phase/60Hz, copper heating and cooling refrigerant circuit with hot gas reheat, 2-speed fan, top supply/back return air configuration, and Symbio 500 controls. The 1.5-ton heat pump must be a Trane Axiom model GECK0181: 208 volt/1-phase/60Hz, cupro-nickel refrigerant circuit with hot gas reheat, wall-mount right-hand piping, and Symbio 400B controls. Delivery is required by January 15, 2027. Award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis to the vendor offering the lowest price that is technically acceptable. NAICS code 333415; PSC code 4120.
