About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command, specifically the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess AFB, is seeking to procure a refueling truck and 7,500 gallons of 100LL AVGas for the Dyess AFB Air Show scheduled for April 19-20, 2025. The RFI requires respondents to provide detailed information about the cost per gallon of AVGas and identify companies capable of providing and delivering the refueler truck and fuel. Interested vendors must indicate their size standard and socio-economic status, including options such as Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, or SDVOSB. The deadline for submitting responses is February 11, 2025, with all response costs to be borne by the interested parties.
The procurement is set aside for total small business participation under the NAICS code 424720 for Petroleum and Petroleum Products Merchant Wholesalers. The government has established a maximum price threshold of $7.30 per gallon or no more than 10% over the current market value, whichever is less. Any unused AVGas will be sold back to the contracted owner, providing flexibility for the government.
