About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a competitive solicitation seeking the production and sustainment of AN/SPY-6 radar hardware from fiscal years 2021 through 2025. Up to two fixed-price contracts may be awarded, with one contractor designated as leader and one as challenger. The leader scope includes sustainment of fielded AN/SPY-6 systems. Interested offerors must have an active secret facility clearance by time of award and be a U.S. company or independent U.S. subsidiary. Feedback on the draft solicitation is due by January 10, 2020, with the final solicitation expected to release in January 2020 and responses due by April 16, 2020.

There is no set-aside designation. Main NAICS and PSC codes relate to radar system manufacturing and sustainment. No incumbent is named, though the government may award to just one offeror. The period of performance spans five fiscal years for production of AN/SPY-6 variants for various ship classes and sustainment through replacement of line replaceable units, utilizing target cost incentives.
