The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command will require contractors to provide comprehensive construction services, including labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for renovation and construction projects. Contractors must be prepared to execute construction requirements in compliance with local, county, state, and federal regulations, with a focus on renovating WWII-era facilities and quality-of-life improvements. The solicitation will be competed exclusively among 8(a) certified contractors, with a projected issuance date of March 17, 2025. Prospective bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to quote submission, and all questions must be submitted in writing to Mr. Jarrod Ford or SSgt Jacolbi Thomas by the specified contact information.

The contract will be designated as a Competitive 8(a) set-aside under NAICS code 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. While specific award values were not disclosed, the contract will cover construction requirements across multiple Air Force and Air National Guard bases, with varying complexity levels ranging from standard renovations to more intricate projects like developing Foreign Military Sales mission facilities. The primary customer will be the Civil Engineering squadrons at each respective base, who will define specific construction requirements through a detailed Statement of Work. The solicitation will be available exclusively through the SAM.gov website, with no paper copies being furnished, emphasizing a fully digital procurement process.
