The Department of State, US Embassy Bogota seeks procurement, delivery, and installation of office furniture for the HSI Office Renovation Project, with proposals due July 27, 2026 at 4:00 PM Bogota local time. This is an open procurement with no set-aside; all responsible sources may submit.

Place of performance is the U.S. Embassy compound in Bogota, Colombia. The scope includes L-shaped workstations, station islands (ranging from 2 to 10 stations), ergonomic and upholstered office chairs, lounge chairs, meeting tables, low tables, bookcases, filing cabinets, and two vetro glass partition panel systems. All furniture must comply with Colombia's RETIE safety certification standards and use specified finishes: Lamitech F8 Formica surfaces, electrostatic powder coating for metal structures, and DECO La Fayette fabric collection. The contract is Firm Fixed Price; offers must remain valid for four months. Colombian vendors must quote in Colombian Pesos, while U.S. vendors may quote in USD; all pricing must be Delivered Duty Paid to the Embassy warehouse.

Contractors must demonstrate minimum five years of verifiable experience in government-funded furniture projects, maintain bilingual project management (English/Spanish), and provide comprehensive insurance coverage. Within seven days of contract award, contractors must submit detailed production and delivery schedules, shop drawings, finish and material samples, subcontractor information, and security clearance documentation. Warranty extends five years for furniture and workstation chairs, three years for highchairs and armchairs, and one year for rails and locks; contractors must respond to warranty calls within 48 hours and provide emergency response within 24 hours for critical failures. A mandatory site visit is scheduled July 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM; company representatives must register by July 14, 2026 COB. Questions are due July 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM Bogota local time.
