The generators must operate at frequencies from 10 kilohertz to 8 gigahertz with output power of +17 decibel-milliwatts and RF bandwidth of one gigahertz. Equipment must support memory capacity of two gigasamples per second and accommodate multiple modulation types including pulsed, amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation, function generator parameters, I/Q modulations, and low frequency modulations, with capability to combine modulations and adjust sweep modulation parameters. One output channel is required. The Government confirmed through a questions and answers response (updated September 1) that the quantity requirement is exactly two separate units with no substitution or alternative configuration acceptable.
The NAICS code is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals; the PSC code is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. Award will be firm fixed-price to the offer most advantageous to the Government, with evaluation factors of price, technical capabilities/specification, and past performance in no stated order of relative importance.
