About this opportunity
The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) has issued a pre-solicitation notice for the development of a Foundational Digital Twin (FDT) with a focus on change detection capabilities. The FDT is envisioned as a unifying concept that will provide users with an interoperable, constantly updating global model of Earth and space to modernize NGA's Foundation GEOINT services. Key requirements include enhanced accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness across multiple domains. NGA is seeking information on vendors' current change detection capabilities, notification systems, and insights. Responses to the Request for Information are due by August 15, 2024.
This is an unrestricted procurement, with no set-aside designation. The contract type, pricing, and small business considerations are to be determined. No specific award value or budget range is provided. The NAICS code is 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services.

Update #2 · Latest ·
NGA’s Foundation GEOINT Group is moving towards a future that prioritizes the creation of geospatial content with enhanced accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness across all Foundation GEOINT (FG) missions including topographic, geographic, hydrologic, maritime, aeronautical and space domains. To meet evolving operational requirements, NGA must modernize its approach to FG services, production and dissemination by becoming a data-centric organization that offers more integrated FG services through an immersive digital experience. NGA is pursuing the development of the FDT as a unifying concept for FG that will offer users an interoperable, constantly updating global model of Earth and space.
