On or about 25 August 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Omaha District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Fort Peck Shaft Building Conductor Replacement, Fort Peck MT. The solicitation will close on or about 24 September 2021. This solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.
The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.
The estimated construction cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Project Description:
The scope of work for this project includes:
Replacing normal and emergency feeders between the powerhouse and shaft buildings to include sectionalizers to break up the cable run to aid in troubleshooting and repair in the case of failure. This project will also include the installation of receptacles in which an existing portable generator can be connected if emergency power is needed. Manual transfer switches will be installed in order to switch between normal power and portable generator power.
