The procurement includes repair of two Spindle Assemblies and one Control Servo Auto component, with contractors required to submit either firm-fixed price or Time and Travel & Equipment (TT&E) pricing along with estimated repair costs. Key contract requirements include strict configuration management, source approval, Mercury-free components, comprehensive quality assurance procedures, and adherence to specific packaging and marking standards. The Small Business Administration determined that a set-aside was not applicable for this repair requirement. The solicitation was posted on December 31, 2025, with a submission deadline of February 2, 2026.
This is not a set-aside contract and will be awarded on a sole source basis under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to a single contractor. The total procurement covers a quantity of four repair items with a contract performance period spanning from December 30, 2025, through February 2, 2026, and includes a 365-day repair turnaround time for each item. The repair work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with items to be shipped to Round the World Logistics in Linden, New Jersey for storage and coordination. The contract type is firm fixed price, emphasizing the critical nature of these repairs for military equipment functionality. While specific award values are not disclosed in the solicitation notice, contractors should be prepared to provide detailed information about their repair capabilities and quality control measures.
