About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical Supply Chain is procuring three formulations of Fluticasone Propionate-Salmeterol combination inhalers (45 MCG, 115 MCG, and 230 MCG strengths) through an unrestricted, fully competitive acquisition using FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures. This national requirements contract will serve Department of Defense, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prisons customers through DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The solicitation will be evaluated on a firm-fixed price basis and will be fully open to all qualified sources. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the pre-solicitation notice, the commercial item procurement approach indicates evaluation will focus on pricing and the contractor's ability to meet supply requirements. The solicitation was originally projected for May 2025; however, a Standard Form 30 amendment dated January 23, 2026 indicates the solicitation has been cancelled in its entirety, making the original timeline no longer applicable.
This opportunity carries no set-aside designations and is open to unrestricted competition from all potential contractors. The pre-solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or current suppliers. Specific contract value and annual usage estimates were to be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the full solicitation; however, these figures are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation announcement. The contract would have been structured as a firm-fixed price, requirements-type agreement with a one-year base period followed by four optional one-year renewal periods. Interested parties were directed to contact Jeremy Brown at the DLA for questions and to monitor the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) and SAM.gov for solicitation updates, though the January 2026 cancellation amendment supersedes the original procurement plan.
