Added: Aug 16, 2016 10:54 pm This is a presolicitation notice for solicitation W81K02-16-T-0142 for Fluorodeoxyglucose 18 for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii.  This requirement will be sole sourced to Hamamatsu-Queens PET Imaging Center, LLC utilizing NAICS 621512.  This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 October 2016-30 September 2019 (One Year Base Period and Two Option Years).  The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific intends to publish this solicitation on August 30, 2016.

Added: Jun 21, 2016 4:40 pm This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 621512 and the size standard is $15,000,000. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract to the successful offeror.

The Department of Radiology at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii has a requirement for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Radiopharmaceutical: Fluorine 18 Fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG). This requirement includes the Fluorine 18 Fluorodeoxyglucose and shipping to TAMC, Hawaii. Due to the limited shelf-life of this product, this product must be purchased locally or rapidly shipped to points of use by the fastest possible mode.


The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing no later than 28 June 2016 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
Vendors are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Wendi Young-Asao, Contract Specialist, Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific; email wendi.young-asao.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. All vendors providing to the Federal Government are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) registry with NAICS code 621512.
