About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is seeking proposals for a five-year option period under the existing Bell Captains of Industry (COI) Contract SPE4AX-17-D-9410 for Performance Based Supply Support of H-1 Organizational and Intermediate (O&I) Consumable Items. The RFP covers both commercial (433 parts) and non-commercial (2,273 parts) items. Interested suppliers who are not approved sources must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) through the DoDSafe system. Proposal pricing is due no later than August 19, 2024, and should be submitted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for certified cost or pricing data. The RFP also requires Bell to submit an updated Small Business Plan for the option period.

This procurement is not set-aside. Bell Textron is the current awardee for the underlying contract. The total value of the five-year option period is unknown, but the list of parts covered suggests a significant volume of supplies. The place of performance is not specified, but the supplies are for the H-1 aircraft, which is used by various branches of the U.S. military.
