About this opportunity

The Federal Contract Opportunity is for the Multi-Engine Training System (METS) Ground Based Training System (GBTS). The contractor will be required to provide a range of services and products, including the delivery of all test and alignment equipment necessary for government test events, obtaining a Level 7 FTD Technical Letter of Equivalency (LOE) for the first T-54A UTD, and ensuring the new UTDs and OFTs can connect to the existing cooling-air-handlers. The proposal due date is 24 July 2023.

Products and Services to be provided:

  1. Delivery of all test and alignment equipment necessary for government test events.
  2. Obtaining a Level 7 FTD Technical Letter of Equivalency (LOE) for the first T-54A UTD.
  3. Connection of new UTDs and OFTs to existing cooling-air-handlers.
  4. Provision of a GUI that provides the instructor access to the controls for record keeping and trainee performance evaluation services.
  5. Simulation of the wake turbulence effects from the linked aircraft.
