U.S. Geological Survey Leetown Science Center (LSC) has a requirement to replace existing lab furniture in (4) labs. The furniture was installed between1978 ¿ 1989 and has developed some faults and damages through the years. The research has changed using different chemicals and equipment meaning existing case work, bench tops need to be replaced. There are several wooden caseworks existing. The project is located at 11649 Leetown Road Kearneysville, WV 25430. The project shall be completed within 180 days after notice to proceed is issued.
There are no option periods.
The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 - $500,000
Request for Proposals (RFP) 140G01120R0013 will be issued on or about 04/16/2020 with written quotes due on or about 05/18/2020.
A site visit will be held. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L of forthcoming RFP. CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT.
This acquisition will be competed using full and open competition procedures. The NAICS code is 238390. The size standard is $16.5 million.
The anticipated award date of the contract is 06/01/2020.
A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
