The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Pollock, located in Pollock, Louisiana, intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of fence construction and installation. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials (with the exception of the fence fabric, provided by government) to construct and install an approximately 12 ft tall x 750 ft. long, security fence ,around a warehouse, according to the specifications given. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The estimated construction performance period is 75 calendar days after acknowledgement of Notice To Proceed (NTP). Payment and Performance bonds are not required for this project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 238990. The applicable small business size standard is including affiliates is not more than $14,000,000.00 average annual revenue for the previous three years. This project will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, FAR 52.219-6.
The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be posted to the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Each offeror is required to be registerd in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included.
The solicitation will be available on or after June 14, 2012, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/ . Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is July 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. CST. There will be a pre-bid conference on June 27, 2012, 9:00 a.m. at FCC Pollock. The anticipated award date is July 13, 2012.
