About this opportunity

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) seeks to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to provide temporary staff to conduct temperature screenings at FEMA branch offices and responder camps in Louisiana impacted by Hurricane Ida. The services are required for an initial period of 30 days, with an option to extend for an additional 30 days, to support disaster relief efforts under DR-4611-LA. Quotes are due by September 21, 2021 and will be evaluated for technical acceptability and price, with award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.

This requirement has been set aside for small businesses located in Louisiana in accordance with FAR Subpart 26.2 and NAICS code 561320 for temporary help services. Offerors must demonstrate that their main operating office generated at least half of 2019 revenues and employed half of permanent staff from one of the 26 declared Louisiana parishes. The purchase order will provide temporary staffing for 14 employees to conduct temperature screenings at various locations in Baton Rouge, Morgan City, New Orleans, Gray and additional sites from September 24, 2021 to October 23, 2021, with an optional extension to November 23, 2021.
