About this opportunity
The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons has issued a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice for comprehensive medical services at the Federal Correctional Institution at Terminal Island. Seven Corners, Inc. will serve as the incumbent contractor providing essential healthcare services to maintain the medical needs of the inmate population during the period of July 1, 2025 through July 31, 2025. The services encompass a broad range of outpatient medical specialties including cardiology, urology, optometry, general surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology, neurology, and otolaryngology. The justification for sole source procurement is based on the essential nature of these medical services and the need to ensure continuity of care through monthly purchase orders until a new comprehensive medical services (CMS) contract is established. Contract 15B61425P00000085 was awarded on July 15, 2025, though the specific vendor and contract amount are not disclosed in the notice. This one-month service period appears to serve as a bridge arrangement to prevent any interruption in critical medical services for the inmate population.
