The procurement includes 83 different food products ranging from dairy items and canned vegetables to frozen prepared foods and specialty items, all requiring strict compliance with federal food regulations and BOP National Menu Specifications. Deliveries must maintain precise temperature controls, with non-frozen perishables kept at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit, frozen items at 0 degrees or below, and all products delivered on pallets during specified hours from 7 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday. The contract will be awarded using a firm-fixed price structure, with evaluation based on past performance and price as prescribed by FAR 52.212-2, awarding to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the government. This opportunity is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 311999 (All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing) with a size standard of 700 employees. No specific incumbent contractors or award values are mentioned in the solicitation documents, though the comprehensive nature of the 83-item food list suggests a substantial procurement for institutional food service operations.
