The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 is soliciting proposals for hazardous waste disposal and management services through an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive hazardous waste collection, recycling, and disposal services including on-site inspections, waste pickup, emergency spill response, waste characterization and determination, manifest documentation, and waste minimization audits. Key requirements include maintaining all required federal and state licenses and permits, possessing current EPA identification numbers, demonstrating qualified personnel with appropriate certifications (RCRA, HAZWOPER, DOT, and First Responder Operations Level), providing 24/7 emergency response capability with two-hour response time, and furnishing all necessary containers and equipment at no additional cost to the government.
