About this opportunity
The Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source purchase order to Hydratight Operations, Inc. for four Enerpac F117 Engine Rotator Kits by May 20, 2026. The procurement is restricted to Hydratight under FAR 12.201-1; the contracting officer has determined the vendor is the sole source capable of meeting the requirement. The rotator kits are motorized tools designed to rotate F117 turbofan engine rotors during borescope inspections and interface directly with F117 hardware per Pratt and Whitney technical bulletin 81959B2. Market research established that currently deployed engine rotators are unsupported by the original equipment manufacturer and cannot be repaired locally. Hydratight maintains exclusive control over its products without third-party distributors. The award will be made to the Antigo, Wisconsin facility (CAGE 87641), designated a Large business. NAICS code 336412 applies; the size standard is 1,500 employees. Interested parties may submit a quote and capability statement electronically through SAM.gov by the May 20 deadline. The Air Force will continue market research to assess whether Hydratight can expand offerings or alternative manufacturers can develop comparable equipment. Contractor SAM registration with an active CAGE Code is required prior to award.
