About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center issued this Special Notice to announce a Pre-Request for Proposal (RFP) Virtual Industry Conference for the F108 Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) Modules Remanufacturing effort. The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Central Daylight Time and will address the consolidated remanufacturing of F108 LPT Module 13/15 and Module 14 components for both the United States Air Force and United States Navy. This Special Notice represents the government's effort to engage industry early in the acquisition process and establish a transparent dialogue regarding anticipated contract requirements and structure.
The conference aims to clarify technical requirements, explain the new contract structure, and improve the quality and speed of solicitation responses from potential contractors. Government presentations will cover the combined Statement of Work, differing technical specifications, anticipated quantities per module for each military branch over the five-year contract period, the CLIN structure, pricing structure, and the estimated acquisition timeline. Registration is required to receive dial-in details and draft RFP documents, with contractors required to provide attendee name, title, email address, phone number, and company affiliation to the Procuring Contracting Officer Brad Bonsall and Contract Specialist Brock May no later than September 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM CDT. Industry participants are encouraged to submit questions, concerns, and comments regarding the draft solicitation prior to the conference, with the full RFP anticipated for release in late November or early December 2025. There is no set-aside used for this opportunity, meaning all eligible contractors, regardless of size or ownership status, may compete for awards based on Source Acceptance Review (SAR) Qualifications for the specific module types.
