The VA Network Contracting Office 2 is issuing this sources-sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Water Quality Management Services. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561210. Statement of Need: The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System has a requirement for Water Quality Management Services. Specifically, Water Quality Management Services shall consist of: Dental Waterline Testing; Legionella Water Testing; Potable Water Testing; Sterile Processing Service Water Testing; Automated Monitoring of Incoming Potable Water; Operation and Maintenance of Monochloramine Domestic Water Treatment System; Ice Machines Cleaning and Disinfection; Laundry Wastewater Testing; and Utility Water Treatment (Cooling Tower and Boiler Systems). The New York Harbor Healthcare System involves the following three site locations: Manhattan campus (423 E. 23rd St., New York, NY 10010-5011); Brooklyn campus (800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209-7104); St. Albans campus (179-00 Linden Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11434-1468). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
