The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company (TBC), Saint Louis, MO for the design, development, test, production and delivery of nine (9) Hole #25 Tool Sets, P/N 74D110654-1001. This tooling is used to repair the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft LH/RH Aft Engine Bay Door 68.
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
