About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard seeks quotations for extruded seals (NSN 5330-01-HS1-7833, Part Number 7645D5043FX218) for use on MH-65 helicopters, with quotations due May 18. This is an unrestricted procurement with no set-aside; all responsible sources may quote.

The NAICS code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Place of performance is Elizabeth City, North Carolina (USCG Aviation Logistics Center).

The base requirement is 15 units with an optional quantity of up to 20 additional units for a maximum total of 35 units. Base delivery is June 17. Award will be made on a competitive basis as a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. FAR 52.217-6 applies, allowing the Contracting Officer to exercise the option for increased quantity within one calendar year of purchase order award at the quoted unit price.

All parts must demonstrate clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), JPR (CAGE Code FAEG6), requiring documented evidence of sourcing from approved OEM sources. Evaluation focuses on technical acceptability—the offeror's ability to provide new manufactured commercial items from OEM or OEM-approved sources matching exact part numbers. Only the lowest priced offer will be evaluated for technical acceptability; evaluation continues in price order if the lowest bidder receives an unacceptable technical rating. Prices will be evaluated for fair and reasonableness, including any quantity discounts and prompt payment discounts. Offerors must hold prices firm for 60 calendar days from receipt date. Quotations must reference the attached Requirements document with unit prices completed.
