The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center seeks to procure the design and delivery of two pairs of Exploration Extravehicular Mobility Unit Boot Assembly Prototypes from a qualified contractor. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Exploration Extravehicular Movement Unit (xEMU) Boots Assembly Development Prototype. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.
The purpose of this amendment 2 is to provide the following:
-update section 3.3.5 of the Statement of Work
-update provision 52.212-1
-provide responses to questions submitted
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR Exploration Extravehicular Movement Unit (xEMU) Boots Assembly Development Prototype. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment willnot be issued.
The purpose of this amendment is to grant an extension of proposal acceptance from December 18, 2019 until January 6, 2020, and to delete the provision "JSC 52.215-108 PROPOSAL MAKING AND DELIVERY THROUGH BETA.SAM.GOV (AUG 2018)" and to replace it with the following:
DELIVERY OF QUOTES/PROPOSALS
Questions are due no later than Wednesday, December 11, 2019 by 4:30 P.M. CST, and all quotes/proposals are due no later than Monday, January 6, 2020, by 4:30 P.M. CST. Delivery of questions, quotes, and proposals are to be submitted electronically via email to the following individual:

The due date for receipt of offers is extended to January 6, 2020.
Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the beta.sam.gov on December 5, 2019. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101.

(DEC 2007) and the provision IDENTIFICATION AND REPRESENTATION OF LIMITED RIGHTS DATA AND RESTRICTED COMPUTER SOFTWARE (PRE-AWARD).
