Key contract requirements include maintaining physical inventory, documenting property, photographing items, ensuring secure storage with specific security features, and providing 24/7 access for DOT/OIG investigators. The contract will be awarded based on best value and technical capability, with potential vendors required to submit both technical and price proposals. Critical deadlines include a May 5, 2025 deadline for submitting questions, with agency responses posted by May 14, 2025, and a final proposal submission deadline of June 5, 2025 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be classified under NAICS code 493110 for General Warehousing and Storage. The anticipated contract period is five years, consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will cover services for transporting and storing diverse evidentiary materials ranging from document boxes to large aircraft parts. The primary place of performance is Washington, DC 20590, though services will be conducted nationwide.
