About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is planning to procure Epinephrine 0.3 MG/0.3 ML Injection Auto-Injectors in 2-count bottles through a national requirements contract. This unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition will be conducted as a commercial item procurement under FAR Part 12, meaning all sources are eligible to submit proposals. The contract will be structured as a firm-fixed price requirements contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options, establishing a national supply source for Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prisons customers through DLA and VA prime vendor programs. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in this pre-solicitation notice, the commercial nature of the acquisition suggests standard commercial evaluation factors will apply. Interested parties should contact Jeremy Brown at (445) 737-5419 or jeremy.brown@dla.mil with questions, and the solicitation is projected to be issued in August 2026, though the DLA reserves the right to adjust this timeline.

No set-aside designations have been applied to this procurement, making it fully open to competition. The pre-solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges. Annual usage estimates will be made available in the Schedule of Supplies section when the formal solicitation is released. Interested parties are advised to monitor the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil and Sam.Gov at https://sam.gov for the solicitation release and to establish automated notifications for any updates to the pre-solicitation or subsequent solicitation. The commercial item classification under NAICS 325412 (Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing) and PSC 6505 (Drugs and Biologicals) indicates this procurement falls within the pharmaceutical and biologicals supply category.
