About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants is soliciting quotations for procurement of one used 3/4-ton truck, with quotations due June 11, 2026. The procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 336120, Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing.
Delivery is required to the Western Fisheries Research Center, 6505 65th Street, Seattle, Washington, with performance period June 8 through June 29, 2026. The vehicle must be American brand (Ford, Ram, Chevrolet, or GMC), 4x4 configuration, extended cab, 8-foot bed, single rear wheel preferred, maximum age 2020 or newer, mileage 75,000 miles or less, clean title, and matching tires with at least 75% tread life. Engine must be large displacement V-8 or turbo diesel V6 producing a minimum of 375 horsepower and 10,000 lbs towing capacity. The truck must be tradesman fleet-style without premium packages, custom paint, lift kits, or aftermarket wheels. Minor cosmetic imperfections are acceptable if mechanically sound.
Quotations must be firm-fixed-price and submitted via email to victor_nuno@ios.doi.gov. Offerors must provide the Vehicle Identification Number, complete interior and exterior photographs per specification, and current CARFAX vehicle history report. All questions were due May 28; the original June 2 deadline was extended by amendment posted June 5. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of Amendment 0001 prior to the June 11 deadline or risk rejection. Award is based on vehicle age, mileage, overall condition, and manufacturer's warranty. Following delivery, the Government will have a certified ASE mechanic inspect the vehicle; any deficiencies exceeding $500 in pre-existing repair costs shall be corrected by the offeror at no cost. The offeror bears all transportation costs. An active manufacturer warranty is preferred but not mandatory. Offerors may submit quotations for multiple vehicle options.
