About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) is soliciting engineering and technical services in support of advanced air vehicle technologies through the SEAPORT-NxG MAC, with a sources sought response due by September 18, 2026. Only SEAPORT-NxG MAC holders are eligible to respond. This procurement is set aside for total small business.

Work encompasses modeling and simulation, air vehicle dynamic simulations and architecture, collision avoidance systems algorithm design, flight control and engine control systems, avionics design and development, aircraft structures and propulsion analysis, systems engineering, logistics, systems acquisition, and flight test data analysis. Services will support current and future piloted and desktop engineering simulation capabilities, aircraft trainer devices, prototyping efforts, and both manned aircraft and Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) in-service and acquisition programs for the Department of War.

Place of performance is the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Air Systems Group, Air Vehicle Engineering Department (AB20000). This will be a hybrid-type contract with requirements documented through individual task orders. Task orders are expected to include a mix of cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price pricing, structured as either non-performance-based level of effort (Term) or performance-based Completion type.

Interested SEAPORT-NxG holders should submit sources sought responses to courtney.l.burgos.civ@us.navy.mil and stacey.l.stone9.civ@us.navy.mil.
