About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard is seeking to procure Engine Compressor Washers through solicitation number 70Z03825QE0000067, which serves as both a synopsis and request for quotation for commercial items. This is a brand-name requirement exclusively for Tronair, Inc. products (CAGE Code: 59603), which are specialized aircraft flight-line portable cleaning units used for spraying cleaning solution and fresh water into jet and turboprop engines. All vendors must provide new approved parts with clear, documented traceability to the original equipment manufacturer, along with a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with FAR clause 52.246-15. The procurement will be evaluated based on the vendor's ability to meet the brand-name specifications and provide proper certification and traceability documentation. Quotations are due by August 5, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with an anticipated award date of August 12, 2025, and email submissions are preferred to Stacey.M.Riggs@uscg.mil.

This is an unrestricted requirement with no set-aside designation, operating under NAICS code 333912 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The solicitation calls for a quantity that varies between documents, with one source indicating 9 units and another indicating 10 Engine Compressor Washers. The Coast Guard anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order with delivery required within 10 weeks after receipt of order. Performance will take place within the United States, and the procurement uses FAR 6.302-1(c) authority for brand-name acquisition due to the item being peculiar to one manufacturer and essential to government requirements. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the justification indicates this falls under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, suggesting the total value is below the simplified acquisition threshold.
