About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Installation and Mission Support Center is seeking to procure Emergency Medical Services (EMS) recertification vouchers through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. This contract supports the Air Force Fire and Emergency Services program, which mandates that all firefighters maintain current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification in accordance with Department of the Air Force Instruction 32-2001 and AFI 44-102. The procured vouchers will cover bi-annual recertification fees for firefighters who have completed required continuing education courses and psycho-motor skills evaluations. Recertification vouchers will be managed by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center and issued to eligible firefighters, who will then submit them along with documentation of completed continuing education unit hours. Testing vouchers will similarly be distributed to firefighters who have completed their education and skills training, enabling them to apply for Authorization to Test and schedule their cognitive examination. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on March 12, 2026, with a deadline of March 20, 2026, allowing potential contractors eight days to review the opportunity and prepare their responses.
