About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC Warren) is seeking contractor support for emergency antenna tower maintenance and inspection services, along with associated infrastructure support not covered under existing Motorola contracts. The procurement encompasses replacement of damaged or worn equipment including guy wires, electrical components, coaxial cables, beacon and strobe lights, lighting systems, antennae and antenna leads, as well as infrastructure items such as polyphasers, entry port boots, and ground straps that have been physically damaged by fires, floods, lightning strikes, or severe weather events. The contract will be structured as a base period plus two option years, allowing for flexible engagement of services as emergency maintenance needs arise. While the pre-solicitation notice does not specify detailed evaluation criteria, interested contractors should review Attachment 1 (Statement of Work) and the Sources Sought document (26-S-0005) for comprehensive requirement details. The pre-solicitation was posted on February 11, 2026, with a sources sought deadline of February 25, 2026, providing a two-week window for interested parties to submit information and questions.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation, indicating it is open to all eligible contractors regardless of business size or classification. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractor beyond the reference to existing Motorola contracts for services that this requirement will supplement. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the pre-solicitation notice, and the actual quantities of equipment replacements and scope of maintenance work will likely depend on emergency demand and damage assessments throughout the contract period. Contractors should anticipate that work will be reactive in nature, triggered by weather events and equipment failures rather than scheduled on a predetermined timeline. Interested vendors are encouraged to carefully review the attached Statement of Work and Sources Sought documentation to understand the full technical and logistical requirements before preparing their response.
