About this opportunity

The National Park Service, ConOps West, is seeking electrical improvements at American Memorial Park (AMME) in Saipan through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) prepared under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. Contractors must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible. The official solicitation will be issued on or about June 1st, 2025, and posted to SAM.gov, with work focusing on replacing aging electrical infrastructure including transformers, conduits, and electrical panels. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed, the procurement will follow standard IFB procedures for contract award.

The contract is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 238210, with a size standard of $19 million. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000, targeting electrical system modernization at the park's critical facilities. The electrical improvements are necessitated by approximately 25-year-old infrastructure that has shown vulnerabilities during disasters and in the corrosive island environment. The place of performance will be American Memorial Park in Saipan, with the contractor responsible for coordinating work, maintaining safety, and completing necessary documentation and inspections.
