This upgrade will focus on enhancing the quality of telephone services, deploying in-room wireless high-speed internet access, enhancing cable television services, and positioning the lodging facilities to take advantage of the features and benefits of next generation telecommunication services as they develop. This includes deployment of single-mode fiber between lodge facilities and interconnection of guest rooms to a local communications closet in each building using both Category 6 telecom cabling and RG-6 coaxial cabling. Digging, boring, building penetration, and pipe running are expected tasks in addition to the aforementioned. Eleven buildings constructed of wood and vinyl siding, with the twelfth constructed of stucco and steel. Existing manholes and concrete hand holes available to be utilized during OSP.
