About this opportunity
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has published a Special Notice regarding an increase in the value of an existing EEO Investigative Services Support task order with S.J. Bashen Inc. This notice pertains to a sole source modification under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) procedures, specifically designated for woman-owned small businesses. The contract modification involves investigative services support with expanded scope requirements. The notice was posted on July 8, 2025, and falls under NAICS code 561611 for Investigation and Personal Background Check Services. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a notification of the government's intent to modify an existing contract.
The purpose of this modification is to increase the scope of EEO investigative services based on the government's determination that additional requirements represent a logical follow-on to current work in the interest of economy and efficiency. The expanded scope increases investigations from 35 to 50, maximum issues from 25 to 40, and Final Agency Decisions from 5 to 12, while maintaining the original period of performance. Although this is a sole source action, other firms may submit written notification to the Contract Specialist by 1:00 PM EST on July 15, 2025, if they believe they can meet the requirements. Any responses must include sufficient supporting evidence demonstrating the ability to comply with the requirements, and the government retains sole discretion to determine whether to compete the procurement based on received responses. Points of contact are Collin M. Larson, Contracting Specialist, and Haydee L. Soto-Carreras, Contracting Officer.
