About this opportunity

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has issued a Special Notice seeking a FedRAMP Moderate, Microsoft Azure cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) eDiscovery platform. This platform must be capable of handling the full electronic discovery process, including litigation hold, forensic collections, early case assessment, review, analysis, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) to support the agency's tax and general litigation needs.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to gather information from vendors on their eDiscovery SaaS capabilities, experience, and ability to provide related Authority to Operate (ATO) and litigation support services. The IRS is interested in learning about potential solutions that can integrate with existing tools, handle various data formats including chat communications, and facilitate collection from Microsoft Office 365. Vendors are requested to provide details on pricing, timelines, staffing, and their ability to meet the IRS's storage requirements by the July 10, 2024 response deadline. This is not a solicitation, and the government is not seeking proposals at this time.
