-All the gates to access the cutting units should be opening June 1st.

The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project as authorized in accordance with Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014 as amended under Section 204 & 207 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (Omnibus Bill 2018).

This project is being advertised for full and open competition. The NAICS code for this project is 115310. 

The Government intends to award up to ten (10) IDIQ stewardship contracts for Mechanical fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management located on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The Types of work will include all activities to maintain a healthy forest environment, some activities include but are not limited to, forest product removal and logging activities. Some sub activities will be thinning, piling, mastication and road maintenance. The task orders against these contracts will be competed amongst the IDIQ contract awardees over the life of the contracts. The Maximum allowed to be ordered against all contracts is an aggregate total of $15 million, and the expected IDIQ term is a period of ten (10) years or until the maximum is met.

LOCATION:  Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit in California.

The solicitation package was uploaded on May 13, 2020.  The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which is stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments to the solicitation.

Task Order Projects: Burton Creek WT Task Order - Southeast CTL Task Order - Tahoe Pines CTL Task Order

A prebid meeting is planned by teleconference on Thursday May 21st. For more information, including the teleconference phone number and time, RSVP to Jason Pollard at jason.pollard@usda.gov or 530-543-2891. The contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to the teleconference date.

The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201

It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor the beta.SAM.gov website for updates and amendments.
