About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA 271 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) contract to Raytheon Technologies for E6B Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Depot Training and Support Systems. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Raytheon Technologies is the only entity with the necessary expertise and data to provide the training and support required for the Field Service Technician (FST) to establish an organic repair capability. The estimated Period of Performance is 1 Year, and NAVAIR will be requesting a written quotation from Raytheon Technologies, with the anticipated award date of September 30, 2024.
This acquisition is not set aside, and there is no incumbent contractor, as Raytheon Technologies is the sole source provider. The contract value is not specified in the pre-solicitation notice, but the requirement is for the provision of E6B APU Depot Training and Support Services under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, which allows for a sole-source award when there is only one responsible source available.
