About this opportunity
The Air Education and Training Command is conducting a sources-sought market research effort for a dining facility assessment at Dyess Air Force Base, with responses due by August 6, 2026, and anticipates issuing a solicitation around late August 2026. This is not a solicitation; responses are for planning purposes only and will not obligate the Government or result in payment. The procurement carries no set-aside.
Work is located at Dyess AFB and involves assessment of a dining facility's current infrastructure condition to identify failing systems and develop a comprehensive repair, revitalization, and modernization plan addressing external structures, internal finishes, equipment, building systems, and layout. The Government seeks general contractors qualified to assess the facility and provide cost elements for repairs and modifications.
Interested firms must submit a capability statement limited to five pages, including a completed Past Performance Questionnaire. The questionnaire requires identification of similar projects completed within the last three years, including contract or solicitation number, detailed effort description with magnitude and complexity analysis, contract type, period of performance (original and current schedules), scope changes and their causes, contract values at selection and completion, and identification of all subcontractors and team members with contact information. The Government will use responses to identify qualified sources for addition to its bidders list and to inform solicitation development; construction documents will be provided to selected qualified sources before formal bid package release.
NAICS code 541310 (Architectural Services) applies.
