About this opportunity
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking a comprehensive Base Operations Services (BOS) contractor for its Springfield, VA Campus through the Integrated Campus Support (NICS) solicitation. The draft Request for Proposal (RFP) covers a full range of facilities support services including program management, workforce and security support, logistics, environmental safety, facility engineering, maintenance, and repair for over 2.7 million square feet of facilities housing approximately 9,000 employees. Interested contractors must register on the NGA ARC Unclassified website to access draft documents, which will be posted the week of May 13th, 2024. The government will accept contractor feedback and questions until June 20th, 2024. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract appears to emphasize comprehensive, performance-based service delivery across multiple operational domains.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific small business set-aside, suggesting full and open competition for the contract. The anticipated period of performance is up to 10 years, with the contract covering not only the NGA Washington campus but also providing limited support to satellite sites and a new Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Headquarters Annex. While no specific award value is mentioned, the extensive scope of services—including workforce support, logistics, facilities maintenance, and security services—suggests a substantial contract value. The solicitation targets facilities support services under NAICS code 561210, with a secondary product service code of R799 for management support. Contractors will need to demonstrate capability to provide comprehensive operational support across a complex, multi-facility intelligence community campus environment.
