About this opportunity

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Sustainment is hosting focused one-on-one industry sessions December 8–11, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to discuss expansion of the Regional Sustainment Framework into USSOUTHCOM and USPACOM (Southeast Asia) theaters; industry day participation requires submission of a request packet by November 13, 2026.

This is a pre-solicitation industry engagement, not a formal solicitation. The RSF aims to establish distributed regional co-sustainment capabilities by collaborating with allies, partners, and defense industrial base providers to support military weapon systems in contested logistics environments. For SOUTHCOM, the Department seeks strategies to build a resilient, distributed co-sustainment network leveraging existing industrial bases, commercial logistics infrastructure, and maritime facilities in partner nations to sustain common weapon systems, tactical aviation, and maritime platforms. For PACOM, the objective is to develop a resilient defense ecosystem in the Indo-Pacific through regional alignment with allies, partners, and the Defense Industrial Base.

Companies interested in one-on-one sessions must submit a three-page request packet to osd.pentagon.ousd-a-s.mbx.rid@mail.mil by November 13, 2026, including company information, designated point of contact, expertise overview, and specific responses addressing RSF alignment, regional maintenance-repair-and-overhaul barriers, required incentives, and co-sustainment opportunities. The Department will review submissions and notify selected companies of session times; scheduling constraints may prevent all companies from securing a session. Participation is voluntary and costs are borne by participants. Points of contact are Andrew J. Woltman (571-256-0634; Andrew.j.woltman.civ@mail.mil) and James C. Carroll (215-565-6559; james.c.carroll33.ctr@mail.mil).
