About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking contractors to supply and install furniture for dormitory buildings 122 and 123 at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. The procurement involves replacing outdated and damaged furniture in 34 rooms per building, with each room requiring bed frames with under bed storage, night stands, media chests, pedestal desks, and desk chairs that meet specific construction standards including solid wood construction and built-in lighting. Contractors must handle all aspects of furniture installation and removal of existing items, and must maintain current System for Award Management (SAM) registration to be eligible. The government will evaluate quotes based on price and technical factors weighted equally, with the intent to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible quoter providing the best value. Quotes are due by July 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM CDT and must remain valid through September 30, 2025.
This solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 337122 with a size standard of 750 employees. No incumbent contractors are identified in the available documentation. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the procurement involves furnishing 68 dormitory rooms with five pieces of furniture each, representing a substantial furniture replacement project. The contractor has a strict 30-day performance period from the contract start date, with removal of existing furniture beginning within 30 days of purchase. Performance will occur at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, with contractor personnel required to comply with base access procedures and security requirements. Importantly, the government has noted that funds are not currently available for this requirement, and the contract award is contingent upon future appropriations being made available.
