About this opportunity
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized educational support services for Fort Stewart Community Schools, specifically targeting students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and individualized health plans (IHPs). The contractor will be responsible for developing treatment plans, implementing behavioral therapeutic programs, and potentially accompanying students on school buses. Evaluation of proposals will be based on three primary factors: technical capability, past performance, and price, with technical and past performance being weighted more significantly than cost. Vendors must submit comprehensive quotes by May 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. EDT, which must include candidate resumes, current licenses, and certifications. To be eligible, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and demonstrate the ability to meet all solicitation requirements.
The contract opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and will cover services at Diamond Elementary, Murray Elementary, and Kessler Elementary in Fort Stewart, Georgia. The performance period spans from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with an estimated 804 total service hours distributed across school year and summer periods. Service requirements include 21 hours per week during the school year and 12 hours per week during summer school. The BCBA must possess a Georgia license and have at least three years of K-12 student experience. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the contract allows for flexibility in service hours that can increase or decrease based on student population changes. Quarterly digital progress reports and consultative services to DoDEA staff and parents are also part of the contract's expectations.
