While this is a notice of intent to sole source, the government will consider proposals from other responsible sources that can meet the program's specifications. The D-SAACP aims to maintain high standards and professional competencies for sexual assault response workforce personnel by managing certification applications, conducting review boards, developing training curricula, and maintaining a web-based certification management system. All costs associated with responding to the notice will be at the interested party's expense, and the government will not provide reimbursement for submission-related administrative expenses.
