This effort will require purchase and installation of major pieces of equipment as well as some major building repair in order to remove existing aircraft maintenance docks and install new aircraft maintenance docks. The Government's initial focus is to find a company who has the capability, experience, and capacity to design and install an aircraft electronics (avionics) cooling air system to supply cooling air to the aircraft.
Please see attachment for additional details and questions for which responses are requested.

Update #1 ·
NOTICE: This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force WILL NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI.
This effort will require purchase and installation of major pieces of equipment as well as some major building repair. The initial focus will be to find a company who has the capability, experience, and capacity to design and install an aircraft electronics (avionics) cooling air system to supply cooling air to the aircraft through Operator Control Consoles (OCCs – similar or the same as the OCCs we already have) between every other dock and raising an equipment shelter outside of the building (see Attachment 1) to shelter the air handling units.
Please see attachment for more details.
