About this opportunity

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has published a Special Notice for a sole-source procurement of custom cable pedestal concealment hosts from DillonWorks Inc. The notice, posted on January 31, 2025, indicates the FBI's intent to award a one-time, firm-fixed price contract for specialized surveillance equipment. Extensive market research conducted through collaboration with other government agencies, industry contacts, and trade shows revealed no alternative vendors capable of meeting the specific requirements. The procurement falls under NAICS code 541519 for Other Computer Related Services, with a size standard of 150 or fewer employees. The notice emphasizes that this is the only publication for this contract opportunity and will be distributed exclusively through SAM.gov.

Contractors interested in this opportunity must respond via email to Brandy Binford (bbinford@fbi.gov) by 8:00 am CST on February 10, 2025, with details about their capabilities and an authorized reseller letter. The FBI will use the submitted information to determine whether to proceed with a competitive procurement, with the ultimate decision at the government's discretion. All potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and ensure their company information is current, including UEID #, EFT details, addresses, and contact information. The contract is specifically for 20 custom faux cable pedestal enclosures designed for the FBI's Video Surveillance Unit, requiring precise specifications such as specific dimensions, weathered appearance, RF transparency, and specialized mounting capabilities. The procurement is not a request for competitive quotations but an opportunity for vendors to demonstrate their potential to meet the FBI's unique surveillance equipment integration needs.
