About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for a Digital In/Out-processing Platform for Student Assignments at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. The RFI seeks input from interested parties on a draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) for developing a web-based system to replace the current paper-based student processing system. The platform will serve the 81st Contracting Squadron and process approximately 6,900 military students annually. The RFI is designed to gather feedback, questions, and comments to help refine the SOO prior to potential solicitation. The opportunity is open to businesses of various sizes and socioeconomic statuses.

The purpose of this RFI is to develop a comprehensive digital platform that automates the student out-processing workflow while meeting strict DoD cybersecurity standards and Privacy Act requirements. Interested contractors are required to submit their responses, including company details such as socioeconomic status, NAICS code, and CAGE code, by 2:00 PM CST on February 3, 2025. The proposed platform must include features like CAC authentication, integration with military personnel and learning management systems, electronic relocation folders, and a leadership dashboard for real-time tracking. Contractors will be expected to provide on-site training, operations manuals, and helpdesk support if selected. While this RFI does not constitute a formal solicitation, it represents an opportunity for businesses to contribute to the development of a critical military administrative system. The government will not provide compensation for RFI responses, and submissions should be emailed to the specified Air Force contracting personnel.
