About this opportunity
The U.S. Geological Survey is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the delivery of diesel and jet fuel, as well as the rental of fuel storage tanks, at the Happy Valley Camp in Alaska. The agency is seeking up to 10,000 gallons each of diesel and jet fuel to be delivered between May 15, 2024 and August 31, 2024. The solicitation requires potential contractors to submit pricing and documentation demonstrating technical acceptability by the due date of May 6, 2024. The evaluation criteria has been changed from lowest price technically acceptable to a trade-off method, considering technical qualifications/experience, past performance, and price.
The solicitation was originally issued as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 324110 for petroleum refineries, but the set-aside has since been removed. The period of performance is May 15, 2024 to August 31, 2024, and the place of performance is Happy Valley Camp in Alaska. Responses must be submitted electronically to the contracting officer, and no additional questions will be accepted after the original due date of February 26, 2024.
