This procurement supports existing RALS management systems during a Cerner Genesis Migration and is conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901. The notice explicitly states that this is not a request for competitive quotes but rather represents a sustainment effort for an existing service. This is a Firm-Fixed Price contract structure consisting of a one-year base period plus two optional one-year renewal periods.

Interested firms must submit written notification to Contract Specialist Laura Broacha at Laura.Broacha@va.gov by 10:00 AM Central Standard Time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, to express their capability to meet the stated requirements. All responses must include supporting evidence demonstrating the ability to comply with procurement requirements, along with a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer confirming the vendor's status as an authorized distributor per FAR clause 852.212-72(c). While the government will evaluate all responses received, it retains sole discretion to determine whether to compete the procurement based on the submissions. No solicitation documents are currently available, and the government will not accept telephone inquiries regarding this opportunity. This notice serves as the government's formal indication of its procurement intent while preserving the option to proceed with competitive or sole source award based on the response evaluation.
