About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center seeks quotation for a desiccant machine capable of conducting vacuum and pressure testing on F107 engines, with quotes due July 6. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 333998 with a 700-employee size standard.
Place of performance is Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The desiccant machine must accommodate engines measuring 49.35 inches length by 15.56 inches width by 23.61 inches height and operate on standard 110V AC power with emergency shutoff. Vacuum test capability must detect flow rates as low as 0.010 scfm at 27.7 ± 0.3 inches of H2O (negative gauge pressure); pressure test capability must detect flow rates as low as 0.045 scfm at 27.7 ± 0.3 inches of H2O (positive gauge pressure). The system shall include internal regulators and indicator gauges for calibration, a simple two-option operator interface (Vacuum Test or Pressure Test), and specific connection specifications including SWAGELOK QC-4 quick connect fittings with AN4 stainless braided hose connections (minimum 5 feet) and 1/4 NPT male quick connect for base airline connections.
The contractor must deliver and install the equipment within 10 business days, complete performance verification within one business day, and provide an operator manual, calibration procedure, wiring and pneumatic diagrams, training materials, onsite demonstration, and functional verification. Shipping is FOB Destination to Tinker AFB with costs incorporated into the quoted price. Payment terms are Net 30 after WAWF invoice submission. Award is based on lowest total evaluated price, with the lowest three quotes evaluated. All quotes must remain valid for 90 days after submission. The government recommends vendors design the replacement system to meet functional requirements using current technology rather than duplicating the legacy 1987 design.
